1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SafeQR, a platform that allows users to create, scan, and share QR codes securely for personal and emergency purposes. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SafeQR, or 18+ if required by your local laws. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information updated.

3. Account Creation & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and other credentials. All activities that occur under your account are your responsibility. You must notify SafeQR immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.

4. Use of Service

SafeQR services are intended for personal and lawful purposes only. You are prohibited from using the service to:

• Store, share, or transmit any illegal, harmful, or obscene content.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
• Collect or share personal data of third parties without their explicit consent.

SafeQR reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these rules without notice.

We collect personal information such as your name, contact details, emergency information, and optionally, facial data. By using our service, you consent to the storage and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. While SafeQR implements reasonable security measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. User-Generated Content

You are fully responsible for the content you upload or share via SafeQR. We are not liable for any information, errors, or harm caused by user-generated content. By uploading content, you grant SafeQR a limited, non-exclusive license to operate, display, and use your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

SafeQR offers various subscription plans (e.g., Basic: ₹199, Pro: ₹499, Family: ₹999). Applicable GST will be added at checkout. All payments, refunds, and cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy. Terms related to automatic renewal will be clearly communicated at the time of subscription.

8. Limitation of Liability

SafeQR is not responsible for any loss of data or content, misuse of the service by third parties, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from your use of our platform. Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also close your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

SafeQR reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes, but your continued use of the service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute may proceed to arbitration or be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

By creating an account or using the SafeQR platform, you explicitly agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to be bound by them and our Privacy Policy.
